The Science Department at the State of Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and the WA State Regional Science Coordinators have collaborated to define 3 Shifts of the Next Generation Science Standards. This could be a useful document as we transition to these new standards, plan, design professional development, etc. The document is embedded below- enjoy.

I am now following your feed and have found some really useful information. You focus seems to be upper elementary and higher. Can you recommend any good sources and links for early elementary? I teach kindergarten and am collecting resources as I rebuild my curriculum for the fall.
Thanks,
Gail
