Science Times is a site where you will find timely articles about current science topics in the areas of environmental science, science & society, and technology. Each blog post features a short overview of the topic and 3 one-page articles at 3 different reading levels that you can download! These are perfect for teaching a science concept and also teaching a reading comprehension strategy and/or informational text features. The site purports that these readings are suitable for grades 4-12. I haven’t spent enough time looking to make a determination on this, but they definitely seem appropriate for middle school students.
