This post really only pertains to science educators in the state of Washington.

Today the Science Assessment Office at OSPI uploaded  new science Test & Item Specification documents.

1. Updated Test & Item Specifications for Grade 5 and Grade 8 plus a table explaining the updates to both documents

2. Version 1 of the Test & Item Specifications for the Biology End of Course Assessment (High School) See more information (from OSPI) below regarding the Biology EOC Test & Item specs and test map.

Preliminary Test and Item Specifications do not include a test map. The test map is pending approval by the National Technical Advisory Committee in September.

An updated version of this document, with the test map, will be posted in October 2011.
