Bring on the Learning Revolution

The talk “Bring on the Learning Revolution” by Sir Ken Robinson was just released on TED Talks. There are many parts of this talk that speak to me-

  • I especially love the notion that our school systems need more than reform- they need a revolution
  • The Fast Food model of education is not working
  • We should do the work that makes an hour feel like 5 minutes- most people are not doing the work that feeds their passion
  • “Common sense” prevents us from seeing some opportunities for change

I also recommend watching Sir Ken Robinson’s TED Talk from 2006- Schools Kill Creativity.
