PBS Teachers has a set of Activity Packs for a variety of content areas: the Arts, Reading, Health, Social Studies, and Science & Technology. Activity Packs are sets of widgets that can be embedded in a classroom blog or website to provide information and links to PBS resources.

The Science & Technology pack includes widgets on: Medical Research, Earth Day, Forensic Science, Weather, and Innovation & Inventions.

Applications for Science Teachers: An appropriate widget could be embedded into your classroom blog or school website. For example- a 2nd grade class studying the weather could embed the Weather Widget into the classroom site and use this for “calendar time” or a daily homework activity with parents.
