The reason I got into teaching was to bring engagement to the classroom. There are many strategies for doing this- some are as easy as just demonstrating a passion for what you do. Here is an example of a teacher who takes that passion and challenges us all to try and ignore it.

I understand that many of us are not going to compose and perform a science rap for our students. Maybe we show our passion in a different way. But however we show it, I think this is a great example of getting students engaged while they’re learning. Do you think these students are excited about science? I wonder if they are excited to come to class?
