Start a Classroom Blog

Picture 1I was just at Target today and I was shocked to see the amount of “Back to School” stuff- I guess it’s that time again!

As we approach a new school year, some science teachers may be considering starting a Classroom Blog to promote communication and collaboration with students and families. If you are considering entering the world of blogging- here are some resources to check out:

1. Please visit Richard Byrne’s Blog (Free Technology for Teachers) for a great post on Setting Up a Blog– there are video clips showing how to use Edu Blogs, Blogger, and WordPress.

2. Visit some science classroom blogs- here are two good examples- Mr. Mansour’s Classroom Blog and Adventures in Science

3. Visit some other content area blogs HERE.

4. Start blogging!

Welcome to Science for All. This is a site where I share some of my favorite science and STEM education resources. I’ll also write the occasional personal post or opinion about education in general. I hope you enjoy your time here and that you always leave with something helpful.
