The other day I was hunting for different climate education resources and I found an interesting climate emotions wheel activity. That acri it’s eventually led me to a powerful site called the Climate Mental Health Network.

The Climate Mental Health Network (CMHN) is a group of community advocates focused on mental wellbeing during the climate crisis. The site provides tools, resources, and programs to help communities deal with the emotional side of climate change. It sounds like CMHN also hosts discussions where people can share their experiences and work together on ways to handle these feelings. I was impressed by the number of tools and resources that are freely available- below are some that jumped out at me:
- A Guide to Climate Emotions
- Tips and Worksheets
- Gen Z Climate Stories film
- K-12 Education Resources
- Book List (Ok…this might be my favorite)
I think this site has some resources that could be helpful in supporting students as they dig into the realities of a changing climate and work on solutions.
Let me know which resources jump out at you. What might you use with students or teachers you support?
