Audience: This LASER Learning Event is designed with a leadership focus and is ideal for:

- District/ESD leaders (administrators, TOSA’s, specialists, PD Providers)
- School leaders (administrators, TOSA’s, specialists, classroom teachers)
- Anyone supporting classroom teachers in science (OSSI CIP’s, Fellows, post-secondary educators, math and ELA specialists, community partners, Pre-service teacher program instructors, and beyond!)
- Community partners (facilitators of professional learning for science/STEM education, program staff)
Features: The event will cover:
- Ensuring high-quality science education and equitable access for all students
- The crucial role of High Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) and High Quality Professional Learning (HQPL) in successful science programs
- Planning actionable steps for the 2024/25 school year
- Providing a handout with links to valuable resources
- Offering time to collaborate with colleagues to plan specific next steps
- Providing technical assistance from each region’s LASER Alliance Director during the event or as follow-up
This workshop aims to equip educators and community partners with the tools and strategies necessary to enhance science education and support equitable student access.
