The Invitational Research Symposium on Science Assessment was held September 24-25, 2013 in Washington, D. C. Many national leaders in science education presented and you can find their presentation materials HERE. As we prepare to implement the Next Generation Science Standards- it is interesting to hear about how these standards might be assessed in the classroom and on high-stakes assessments.

I have not had a chance to examine all of the presentations but there appears to be lots of good thinking from many experts in science education.
