The Second (and final) Public Draft of the Next Generation Science Standards will be released Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 3pm Eastern. Remember- this is the final opportunity for K-12 teachers, parents, administrators, professional development providers, curriculum writers, institutes of higher education, etc to provide feedback and input on the standards. Check HERE to find the standards once they are released.

You may also be interested in an NGSS webinar on Wednesday, January 9, at 7:30 p.m. (Eastern). NSTA will host a web seminar on key components of the second NGSS draft featuring Stephen Pruitt of Achieve. If you are interested in  registering for the web seminar, click here.

Please help spread the word on this opportunity to provide feedback. I’ll also be sharing other thoughts and information on the NGSS draft in the coming days and weeks- so stay tuned.
