The long-awaited arrival of Washington STEM (Washington the state… not D.C.) is quickly approaching. Here is wording from a recent email:

The wait is almost over. Washington STEM, a new nonprofit organization devoted to investing in programs to advance innovation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Washington state, will announce it’s inaugural awards this coming Monday, March 7, 2011. Check out the countdown to the announcement at www.washingtonstem.org and stay tuned for more information about the work of this new organization.
