Barriers for Women in Science

A recent paper from Cornell University describes some of the real barriers to women entering math and science fields. The paper focuses less on discrimination and more on the intentional choices that women make in pursuing a career. The paper makes an interesting commentary on the perception (justified or not) of STEM fields and also the social pressures put on women. The paper can be read online HERE.
