Over yonder at What it’s Like on the Inside, the Science Goddess posted her new version of a standards-based grade book for science. There is currently a lot of momentum behind moving from a traditional grading system to a standards-based system. The Science Goddess has expertise in this area (and many others) and she shares her thoughts and tools for helping teachers, schools, and districts to make the switch. I highly recommend adding this blog to your rss reader.

Another great standards-based grading resource is Tara Richerson’s Standards-Based Grading Wiki. You will find links, workshop materials, articles, and more.
