Process of Science

Screen shot 2009-10-10 at 3.04.01 PMProcess of Science is a partnership between Visionlearning and the Science Education Resource Center at Carleton College. The site provides resources for improving understanding of science process skills and also provides examples, references, and resources for teaching science processes.

The Why Teach the Process of Science page has some good information on student misconceptions regarding the nature of science.

There is a pretty substantial catalog of example activities and courses.

Applications for Science Teachers: Most of the support seems to be targeted to high school and undergraduate teachers of science. However, there are definitely resources for all teachers of science. The site is worth adding to your science education resources bookmarks.
