TED Talk – Animation of a Cell

Richard Byrne of freetech4teachers.com posted a TED Talk on cell biology (by David Bolinsky) today. The former cell biologist in me felt like I needed to “borrow his idea” and post this as well.

Plus- I recently posted the The Inner Life of a Cell video that David Bolinsky discusses in his TED Talk.

Applications for Science Teachers: Most of the TED Talks are a great source of personal PD- I know I find them to be very inspiring, engaging, and powerful. This particular TED Talk provides a linked content connection with cell biology in the life sciences. It seems very appropriate for a high school or college biology learner. Showing the TED Talk and the Inner Life of the Cell video together would make for a nice discussion on not only the cell biology content but some Nature of Science content as well.
