The Eyes of Nye

Screen shot 2009-09-28 at 9.48.10 PMI am a big fan of Bill Nye and I feel like his 2005 show Eyes of Nye is underappreciated. The show was intended for more of a teenage and adult audience than Bill Nye the Science Guy.

The Eyes of Nye site is organized around the episodes from the show. Each episode has an intro, a short clip, fast facts, featured scientists, and the flip side (alternate points of view and opinions).

To see complete episodes- check out the Eyes of Nye Channel on YouTube.

Applications for Science Teachers: High School science teachers will find videos to support life science, physical science, and Earth/Space science. The clips are supported by links and many other resources. These videos could be embedded in a blog or wiki an commented on as homework assignments.

See the Addiction part 1 clip below with Dr. Drew.

Vodpod videos no longer available.
