Neuroscience for Kids

The Explore page contains resources on Brain Basics, The Spinal Cord, The Neuron, and much more. The page links to a video- Brainworks– where a group of students are shown learning about the nervous system.

Applications for Science Teachers: Life science teachers at a range of levels will find many neuroscience resources resources for students and their own content knowledge. The site has kind of an elementary look to it, but contains many resources appropriate for middle and high school. The site is maintained by Dr. Eric Chudler at the University of Washington.
