More Free Inquiry Resources

Picture 7As I learn with teachers, leaders, and students I notice that there are a variety of conceptions of Inquiry. I have posted blogs on Inquiry before- Inquiry Part 1 and Lee Meadows on Inquiry.

I thought I would revisit this topic and post a couple of FREE resources.

Foundations: Inquiry is available as a FREE pdf from NSF and contains 13 chapters on inquiry based learning in science.

Picture 8Inquiry and the National Science Education Standards is available to read FREE online. Chapter 3– Images of Inquiry in K-12 Classroom has vignettes of inquiry learning in classrooms.

Applications for Science Teachers: Any science teacher, teacher leader, or administrator interested in expanding their professional learning and understanding of inquiry may find these resources valuable. PD providers may find selections of these resources useful in a professional development setting.
