I realize we just wrapped up “Shark Week” on Discovery Channel, but while reading iLearn Technology tonight I stumbled on a very simple yet impressive site- WDCS Life Size Whale.

Applications for Science Teachers: Use this site to demonstrate how scientists “look closely” when they observe. The site gives students an opportunity to observe the parts of a living system and think about the function of the parts. This will be really cool when projected on a screen or interactive whiteboard with the speakers turned up.
